Numero Uno (Number 1)

Okay... well, I bought a brand new Toshiba laptop from Circuit City about 1 month ago... Not a bad deal - Intel Core, Vista Premium, 15.4'', 2 gigs of ram ...

Anyway, so here is where it all begins...

I thought that having a laptop that was wireless should be able to hook up to my home network. And thats exactly what I did. Previously, I had 3 computers (Dell, Compaq and Dell) which were all running Windows XP Home and Pro, and where looked up to my network as well.

When I began setting up my laptop to hook with the home network- it went pretty smoothly.

Start>Network>[My Main Computer's Name] and then got access to all the files being shared.

So then I needed to hook up my printer. Well, when I clicked on the printer, I waited about 20 seconds and then the following message appears, "Windows cannot connect to the printer. There is not enough memory to complete this operation. Please close some programs and try again."

Alright, so you are probably asking yourself, what does this have anything to do with Toshiba?? Error messages, like such, are meant for Microsoft to handle.

My reason for mentioning all this is because I then called up : 1-800-457-7777 [ option 1 for english, 3 for tech. support, and then 2 for vista installed]

I get transferred to some dude named Angelino.[guy -- atleast thats what it sounded like]
He tells me that I need to be directed to their "Networking Department" and he gave me a case number and transfered me.

However, after wasting about 15 minutes listening to that STUPID MUSIC playing over and over again [ seriously-- it can cause insomnia... IM NOT KIDDING] Try it!

Anyway, I get this voice telling me to leave a message, and when I hear that im like --"Oh My God (OMG- for those nerds like me). I wait 15 minutes just to hear some old lady tell me to leave a message and they will reply within 4 hours."

So I joyfully left a message telling them to call me between the hours of 4PM and 10PM EST, pretending not to be pissed off - because I needed this problem to be solved.

----4 Hours Go By-----
No call....

---- 24 HOURS GO BY! ----
No call....

I get home and I check my messages and see that some idiot from Toshiba Netwoerking solutions called at 1:49PM.

The guy is like(chinese accent -- i think ;) ) "Ahh.. Hellllooo??? I from Toshiba Nework Solucion. Dis message regarding call from you to us about nework." Ok Right there!!!! HELLOOO!???!?! Are you deaf?!?! I know the call is about a network -- I left the message!!! Idiot... going on...

"I see from case numba dat you need help with printa." OOH.... your real smart!
"Please call us back and asked to get tranfer to nework solcion. Tank you, have a good dai"

You are probably pointing out all the mistakes in the typing. THEY ARENT MISTAKES!!!! Thats how the guy talked!

Keep tuned for upcomming TSS (Toshiba Support Sucks) blogs...

Keep the posts comming!!!

Toshiba SUCKS

September 11, 2007

Well, lets start off by saying that this is my first blog.

Now we got that out of the way, i'll try to tell you a little about what his blog is going to be about. Firstly, you can tell by the title, Toshiba's Support line really does suck. I am working on getting recordings of each phone call I make to show the true side of Toshiba.

Second, Toshiba's Support line sucks! I will be including videos of when their so-called "technicians" remote desktop you. If you dont know what remote desktop is, i suggest you stop reading right now!

Third, well I'm guessing you can figure what my third would be...
